In 2020, the library received a $300,000 federal Challenge & Infrastructure grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. It is a 3:1 match, meaning (after it was awarded) we must raise $900,000 to receive the entire $300,000. So far, we have met our first year match of $75,000, our second year match of $250,000, and now we are on our third year match of $250,000. We have $237,000 left to raise by July 15th. We believe, with a community-wide effort, we can achieve this! While we continue to pursue grants and sponsorships, we would like to challenge the community to help us reach our goal. We are creating a community-wide peer to peer fundraising campaign, with a goal raising $100,000 to go towards our grant match. If we rally together, our dream of having a new, modern, easily accessible, ample parking spaced library is closer to fruition!
